Actor, singer and member of Tri:al (트라이얼) formerly known as SoReal (소리얼), Phillip Ryu (류필립) and his wife singer Shim Mina (심미나) who shot to fame during the 2002 FIFA World Cup stars in Season 2 of "Mr. House Husband" (살림하는 남자들), a reality show featuring celebrity housekeeping husbands. Shim Mina who was born in 1972 is 17 years older than Phillip Ryu and the couple married in July 2018 after dating for three years. The couple currently live in a spacious 2 storey house in picturesque Namyangju with their two poodles Kongi (콩이) and Dooi (두이) and cats named Pilmi (필미) and Pildoli (필돌이). The interior of the house is stylish yet welcoming and is equipped with high-tech electronics whilst the living room features a pole for fitness loving Shim Mina. According to Phillip Ryu, "When I first met Mina, she was my dream woman. She as the kind of person I always dreamed of being with. I knew that I couldn't wait any longer. I thought it was best to get married and show everyone how good we are as a couple".
