Singer and former rapper of trio group Cool (쿨) Kim Seongsoo (김성수) stars in Season 2 of "Mr. House Husband" (살림하는 남자들), a reality show featuring celebrity housekeeping husbands. Kim Seongsoo lives in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do with his 13 year old daughter Kim Hyebin (김혜빈). Kim Hyebin's mother and Kim Seongsoo's ex-wife Kang Jihee (강지희) was killed 6 years ago in a random street attack which made Kim Seongsoo reluctant to appear on the show at first, "I had to ponder when I was first asked to be on the show. The incident involving Hyebin's mum is a sensitive issue. It's already been six years now. I calmed by daughter down and talked to her. I told her we could still be happy on our own. It was a freak accident and everyone goes through a death of a family member. We were just experiencing it first. I was worried about old wounds being opened up. However, many wonder about how we're doing and I wanted to show them that we were doing great. That's why I agreed to be on the show". As a single father, Kim Seongsoo reflects: "In order to raise a child, you need two pillars. However, Hyebin only has one. It's off-balance at the moment. That's why I want to restore that balance by being a good dad as well as a mother for her. Doing my best on both jobs is my life and my way of being".
