Comedian Kim Youngcheol (김영철) who is known for his cheerful trademark greeting "Cheer up, super power" appears in "I Live Alone" (나 혼자 산다), revealing his energetic and entertaining character even behind the scenes. When he is not travelling around the world performing at comedy festivals, Kim Youngcheol likes to make improvements to his quirky apartment which is his first home purchase. As he discloses to his close friend Song Euni (송은이), "I moved into this house two years ago. i paid the mortgage off three months after I moved in. I even took my friends out to celebrate. I understand why people get a drink after paying their loans. The day I became loan-free, I took a look around my place. It was finally my home. I was excited so I got a drink." After tiring of the book cafe theme living room, Kim Youngcheol buys a sofa in order to be able to fall asleep whilst watching TV.
